Beper, leading brand in small domestic appliance market, is looking for a talent to join the Product Development Team as a Buyer. The candidate will be responsible for scouting, negotiating and sourcing trending and high-quality products that meet the company’s standards and vision.
The ideal candidate must feel comfortable with managing, reading and explaining data. Being confident with math and analysis is very key for this role. On top, it is requested to have a hands-on approach: the Product Development Team interacts with all other departments: sales, logistic and administration. The candidate is expected to take ownership and go beyond their own tasks if needed, with no fear to “get hands dirty”. The role also requires a sharp commercial attitude.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Identify new products and suppliers that fit the company's product strategy and profitability goals.
- Manage purchase orders, shipping schedules, and product delivery timelines to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the best possible prices and terms and maintain a profitable relationship with them.
- Creation and up-to-date maintenance of Purchasing Orders’ info & Products’ details in our ERP system.
- Monitoring the inventory levels based on sales trends and data and ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet demand, and to determine when to restock and how much to order.
- Analyze market trends and customer demand to identify opportunities for the company growth and expansion, as well as to ensure competitive pricing and availability of products.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to importing and distributing small appliances.
- Work with the quality control team to ensure that products meet company standards and compliance regulations.
- Cooperate with Logistic department to ensure the delivery deadlines are met.
- Cooperate with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute integrated strategies and ensure the products meet customers’ demands and expectations.
- Cooperate with the Graphic design department to create the best product proposal for the market.
- Conduct product research and attend exhibitions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
Qualifications:
- Graduated with bachelor’s degree in business management, economics science or in Languages (preferably Chinese).
- Fluent in spoken & written business English (min. C1 level). Chinese is considered as a plus.
- Lateral thinking & strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and analyze data to make informed and data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Apt to teamwork.
- Problem solving mindset, result-oriented & highly organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems.
- Driving License
- Available to International trips (mainly Europe & Far East)

The second interview will be held in person at our Head Quarter in Vallese di Oppeano (VR) with the overview of the candidate’s skills and a brief analytical test.
